Secretary
Eileen Benkin Gross joined the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders as Veterans Stadium opened for the 1971–1972 season, serving as co-captain while also studying for her teaching degree and working. A proud Philadelphia native, Eileen attended Temple University and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree before going on to teach.
She later ran her own business for over ten years while raising three children—Michael, David, and Kevin—with her husband, Brian, to whom she has been married for nearly 50 years. Now that her children are grown and have built wonderful lives with their lifelong partners, Eileen takes great pride in the family they’ve created together.
Her lifelong love of football and cheering—beginning as a high school cheerleader and co-captain—along with decades of experience in and around the sport, have all led her to follow this path.
PPFCA STRONG:
I’ve been proud to serve as the PPFCA Board Secretary since the very beginning. It’s been a privilege to help shape our meeting agendas and support the mission of the organization. I’m committed to staying involved, making a positive impact, and being part of the conversations around strategy, budgeting, and where we’re headed as a group.
I’m also looking forward to continuing to share feedback, identifying areas where we can improve, and staying open to change as we grow. Most of all, I want to help ensure that PPFCA remains strong and sustainable by supporting thoughtful planning for the future.
