Kelly Nickischer-Crits
Director of Volunteers
Kelly received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from East Stroudsburg University. She was also a member of the ESU cheerleading squad and gymnastics team. After graduation, Kelly cheered for the Philadelphia Eagles during the 1984 to 1987 seasons. Her biggest thrill and heartwarming memory was when her sixth grade class took a field trip to the Vet to see her cheer. Kelly taught sixth grade science and language arts while pursuing a masters degree in education as well. She also coached a high school cheerleading squad and taught aerobics classes. She was a mentor in The Girls On The Run program which blends physical activities with the development of skills to help girls recognize their individual strengths and build confidence. She has been a participant with Science Cheerleaders, an organization of current and former NFL, NBA, and college cheerleaders that inspires and empowers young girls to pursue their dreams in STEM.
After teaching for 35 years in the North Penn School District, Kelly retired and now has more time to engage in charitable endeavors with our other proud alumni. Kelly spends her time residing in Easton and North Wales, Pennsylvania with her husband. She has two sons that were recently married and reside in the Philadelphia area.
