A Day of Service: Bonding Over Bonding Squares For NICU Families

*Our Philadelphia Professional Football Cheerleader Alumni Day of Service, supporting Today is a Good Day is still scheduled for tomorrow, January 20th. In the event we need to cancel or reschedule due to the weather, all who’ve RSVP’ed will receive an update by 10am tomorrow morning. CHEERS! 💚

Join PPFCA for a National Day of Service on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 20, 2025, from 3:00- 5:00 pm, as we once again come together to support the important efforts of Today is a Good Day.
Today is a Good Day is the leading provider of NICU family support in the Delaware Valley…and beyond, providing 10 years of hope and building community through personal and financial support for families who experience the NICU.
This year, with your help, we will come together to create bonding squares. Bonding squares are intended to help NICU families to bond with their babies through smell—one of the most developed senses in premature infants.
One bonding square can be worn against the parent’s skin, and one can be left as comfort with the baby in the isolette. Each day, the squares can be swapped so that the baby has the parent’s scent and the parent has the baby’s scent.
