Betty Anne Martino
Board Advisor & Document Administrator
Betty Anne cheered as an “Eaglette” and “Liberty Belle” for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1977 to 1981, having the amazing opportunity to be a member of the Super Bowl XV Squad. Since the inception of the Cheerleader Alumni, she has had the honor to serve as 1970’s Decade Rep (2008-2013) and Board Secretary (2009-2014). During that time she helped to plan and organize many wonderful alumni events, reunions, Race for the Cure, Team Ra-Ras Kick Breast Cancer YouTube video and NFLA Celebrity Golf Outings.
Betty Anne also had the honor to serve as Board Secretary of the NFL Alumni Philadelphia Chapter (2013-2021), making her the First Cheerleader in the NFL Alumni Organization to hold a Board Secretary position. During this time she created and managed their social media and kept the alumni informed through newsletters and eblasts. In partnership with the Cheerleader Alumni Board, she helped to organize alumni events and planned and organized their NFLA Philadelphia Golf Outings. Because of the tremendous fundraising efforts of the Cheerleader Alumni Board, working together with the former players and coaches, in supporting local children’s charities, the NFLA Philadelphia Chapter has become one of the top chapters in the country.
In her early years, Betty Anne was a competitive baton twirler and dancer. She is a former NJ Certified Court Reporter, having worked in various courts, and ultimately owning and operating a successful court reporting agency until retiring from the field.
As of 2021, because she always enjoyed sewing, she decided to take it to the next level. Now a small business owner, designing and creating handmade stitched wearable accessories and home goods, you can find her items online, in stores and at local craft fairs. And for the last 13 years Betty Anne has been booking manager, producer and radio talk show co-host of a world-wide internet radio show, Chit Chat Café.
Today Betty Anne resides in South Jersey with her husband. She has two wonderful daughters and a son-in-law. Betty Anne is honored to serve as Board Advisor to the PPFCA. She is thrilled to have the opportunity and looks forward to working with the PPFCA Board in planning many wonderful future events!
